Period or listed property?

Because of our ethos and love of old buildings - we really are the ideal team to look after the more complex problems that often arise when working on older property. In fact, we went through nearly every one of them when we re-furbished (well pretty much re-built!) our own 18th Century home!

We have extensive knowledge, and a love of the materials found in these old buildings. Character properties have just that - their own unique feel and well, character!

We understand older properties

Generally, those of us that have brought older properties find ourselves wrapped up in a love affair with our homes, from the exquisite bliss of feeling cosy in front of the log burner with a glass of wine, through to the despair felt when the hot water fails again. Or the horror when you realise that damp patch in the living room you've been watching for a while is most definitely expanding! Owning a period property can be an emotional roller coaster.

We've been there!

We have been through the agonies and the ecstasy personally with our home. So, with our building skills and friendly support we can sort out anything causing concern in your home. We are happy and knowledgeable working with listed properties, and in conservation areas. Tricky access and narrow lanes - not a problem. In fact, working in and around the beautiful Cotswolds, we find ourselves in such territory rather a lot!
